โก Electrical Hazard
Stop all work immediately. Establish a safe distance of at least 10 feet from any energized line.
Call utility emergency line before any work near conductors.
Never assume a line is de-energized โ treat all lines as live.
If a worker contacts a line: call 911, do NOT touch the worker until power is confirmed off.
๐ช Struck-By / Caught-In Incident
Call 911. Do not move the injured worker unless in immediate danger.
Stop all mechanical operations. Secure the work zone perimeter.
Apply direct pressure to bleeding wounds. Maintain airway.
Designate one person to meet emergency services at the access point.
๐ช Storm Damage Response
Assess from a distance before approaching. Identify all electrical contacts.
Look for hung wood, split stems, widow-makers before entering work zone.
Work with a buddy. Never work under a hung tree alone.
Document pre-work conditions with photos for liability protection.
๐ง Fall from Height
Call 911 immediately. Do not remove any embedded objects.
If suspension trauma: lower to ground as quickly as safely possible.
Suspension trauma can be fatal within 15 minutes โ this is a medical emergency.
Preserve all equipment for OSHA investigation. Do not alter the scene.
